Title: lack of turbo on my tdi bora 115 help needed asap

right guys i have a vw bora tdi sport i have been told it was mapped the problem im having is that when i pull away in first and boot it its fine but but as soon as i get it in 2nd etc its fine up to 3000 revs then the power really goes?  it feels like its holding back? but if i feed the throttle slowly then the car goes reall well??? has anyone got any ideas? i have changed all the pipe work to silicone and still no change can some one help? cheers
