Title: oil leak ???

hi there im hopeing you ca help me out,ive recently changed the oil in my golf mk2 gti digifant,but there has been a oil leak since i changed the oil,so after some investigating the oil is coming thro the oil sensors and the side of the engine,and one at thr front of the engine.is this due to useing 10w40 semi mineral oil?is it so thin the oil that its getting thro or are both the sensor knackered?

Replace the o rings or bonded washers on the sensors

Hi no this hasnt stopped the leak,im thinkin the oil maybe to thin i dunno

Do you mean the oil pressure sensors? these can fail internally and leak oil, try replacing them.

Thicker oil will not stop it, replace the sensor.
