Also, make sure it's REALLY clean too, I accidentally cooked a few bugs into my splitter the other day and it's a lot harder clean them once they're cooked in to the plastic.

I know where you're coming from, the first time I did my rear spoiler there was some reminents of tree sap left on there and the heat gun absolutely baked it rock hard making it an utter b!tch to remove.

I used a heatgun last week with mines. My trim was turning white and the same with the spoile.

Very impressed with the results. Some people think I have bought new trim

Loads of threads on it if you did a search!

Boiled linseed oil, Auto Glym Bumper care, and heat gun are the preferred and best options. Wouldnt recommend spraying it, some may argue but I've seen quite a few after a couple of years where it has started to flake off, and it looks atrocious!

my splitter somehow has some cuts in it so i'm gonna take it off, head it up and use a butter knife to smooth it out and hide the cuts, guessing its where the car bottomed out coming of the previous owners drive

iv tried everything once, but always come back to Auto Glym bumper gell, if you aply with a sponge, then buff off it works really well..

do mine every other wash of the car, keep it built up..
