Title: Bora rear rubstip..on a golf mk4 front?
Post by: thatwillis on 14 August 2011, 23:55
So i was following a mate home the other night and noticed how the bump strip on the rear of his bora has no recess like on the front and isn't in two pieces like on the rear a mk4 golf.

So i was thinking of getting hold of a bora rub string and helping it into position on the front of a golf bumper rather than tracking down a us rub strip with a bit of heat and force.

Anyone tried this?

Won't fit.  The corner bends are in the wrong place.

What about heating it and reforming it do the corners are in a different place?
