Right then, time for a toy, will have UPTO £2.5k but not til end of August.
Been considering a few MkIIs but been there done that
Then a MkI was an option
a well known B3 Wagon is also up for sale
then someone sent me a link to a VR6 Corrado
Only REAL restriction is it must be able to go on a classic policy.
and have a long mot .
So, what would you do
-

If it's a show/meet only car then really it has to be Corrado Vr6. It's unlikely to lose any value in your ownership which is good when you're spending that kind of cash. It's become a classic and they still turn heads, the VR6 being the one that will be always the most sort after. I loved my 16v and would have another corrado in a heartbeat. Like a MKII golf only better in many ways. The spoiler NEVER gets boring. One of the best handling FWD cars ever and with a stainless exhaust and drilled airbox the sound is sexual.
DO IT!

this thread at least shows that when the time comes for you to purchase something,
you`ll have plenty of choice for some cool motors
-
We've discussed this so you know what I'll say here.. Biased or not, MK2s to me now are what MK1s were when I first got one, an appreciating modern classic, many years have passed since then so surly that makes a MK1 a true classic now. MK2's can still be found as a daily, MK1s are a serious option as a toy... MK1 all the way if you're yet to own one.
-
 I must admit there are some very tasty VR6 corrado's on Youtube. There are a few vids of some awesome yank/canadian 4motion ones/R32's.
Might even chop in the Golf for one. :lipsrsealed:

Would have to be a Corrado VR6 or something equally as exotic for a toy!
You've had MK2's and passat's, time for a radical change?

either a mk1 or a rado VR6 - you should speak to Fay and see if she knows of any from the owners club who are selling
i personally liked your mk1 idea that you had a few months back... sounded ideal. and a mk1 will hold its value nicely too
just one thing.. if you get a VR6 that is bound to have recaro/sports seats and i know you have a particular love of these after speaking to you about the mk3
