Right, finally found a the time to detail my car properly...
Started off last night with a real good 2 hour wash, just the 2BM with DJ sour power, went over it a couple of times. Got the toothbrush out, scrapped all the nook and crannies in preparation for today!
Got outside today to find perfect detailing weather, over cast with minimal chance of rain got to love British summer time!
-Started this morning with another quick wash, again 2BM & DJ SP.
-Managed to then clay the whole car and all the glass with a very small piece of megs clay and a the last bit of my megs quick detailing spray.
-Then I took a new step in my detailing career and used glass sealant! Used DJ clearly menthol with the DJ glass cloth to give it a good clean. Followed it up with DJ SN glass polish using an applicator pad, this stuff is fantastic, really really got the glass spotless! Then came the DJ SN glass sealant, after reading the instructions about 4 times I got going. Used a small pot and poured some into it, then dabbed the cloth into it and did as instructions said. Was very simple to do, just a lengthy process. After this I cleaned the insides of the all the glass with just the DJ CM. Got a fantastic clear as crystal results once the insides where done!
- Then onto using DJ lime prime(with mirco abbrasives) using an applicator pad, quickly buffed it off to leave a brilliant glossy shine!
- Next out came the DJ diamond white(only have a panel pot, thinking im going to try one of the other waxes next), waxed on, waxed off, then had a cup of tea!
I had the option of using the DJ SN trim sealant, however after misunderstand what you could use this product on, and looking at how little 'trim' I had on my car I decided not to use it.
After a cupa and some food I went out side hose in hand to check out the beading, especially on the windows. I was very very pleased with the window sealant, never seen anything like it on a car that I own , very pleased with this product. The beading off the car was great due to the wax. I think I will apply another layer of wax next week before I finish my 2 weeks holiday! Got some snaps, only from today's efforts, couple before and a couple after...Please enjoy and go easy on me!! After lime prime and wax, I was really very pleased with how well it came up, even for a 10 year old car almost!

Beading shots IMO you cannot get the full effect of the glass sealant from a pic, but I love it!!
