Title: hole on drivers floor MOT
Post by: reptiles nd fishin on 14 August 2011, 12:52
Hi folks

i was just checking my golf mk3 gti out for its MOT and i have noticed that the floor around the rubber gromit on the drivers side is well non existant it has rusted away to nothing and i was wondering if i had to seam weld a new pannel in place or could i pop rivet a pannel and under seal it?

I know you used to be able to rivet a pannel but i have heard that you now have to seam weld it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
