Afternoon everyone,
My name is Ross and as of this morning I am again the proud owner of a VW Golf.
I owned a V5 back in 2006 for about 18 months but due to other commitments at the time had to sell. Although I was disappointed when the car sold I vowed one day to own another Golf in the future. Now is the time!
Today I purchased Golf GTi Turbo, metallic green, cream leather, BBS alloys. Pretty much the works. It has low mileage, good history and I am only the third owner. The last owner had it for over 10 years. Wow. Will post some pictures up very soon.
Looking forward to being part of the wider Golf community!
Thanks,
Ross

I forgot to mention I'm based down in Kent. I'm sure there are plenty of other Kent VWs on here too!

Erm.. 2011
Sorry I couldn't resist. The car is a 1999 T Reg. However it only has 48k on the clock and drives like a dream. The rest of it is in great condition too.
Pictures will be on later today!

Only 48k on the clock?! Wow, thats pretty damn low for 12 years old, hopefully they aren't thrashed miles, so the car will last you for ever!
I was going to get some pics up of my MK3 Gti 16v but I need to get rid of some rust spots first!

I know, this is one of the reasons why I just had to buy the car. The last owner was a middle aged lady who had it for over 10 years so I hope most of the 48k are careful miles!

The only things I need to do are get some BBS centre caps from somewhere and at some point think about getting the allows repaired. There are some large areas of oxidation on two of them so could do with being cleaned up. That's it!
All the electrics work. The heated seats, sunroof, climate control, windows. I am really pleased with it.
