Ok, i think I'm gonna have to break the golf.
I don't have the funds to repair him, so I just wanted advice on how people break them, as I haven't done this before!
Once all the bits are taken off and i can't shift anymore, how do I get the shell to the scrappy? Do they tend to come and collect em?
Do ya get much from them for it?
Cheers peeps :(

Call a couple of scrapyards near you. If they have to collect the shell expect them to do it for free, but don't expect any cash for the shell.
If you deliver the shell to a yard, expect £50 or so for it. All depends on the price of scrap at that time.

I got £40 for a 3/4 stripped Mk3 a few months back.
The guy who came and took it would have given me £60 if complete, Ive had my money though selling a few bits off it.
Local scrappy pays a good rate for cars which is why i got what i did.
All the bits ive had off the old one have saved me a packet, so the new tug is less of an old sea dog

FYI.
