Title: engine temperature gauge reading

 :embarassed: hi people i have went from the mk5 1.4 golf to the mk4 gti (150) and have noticed a difference in the engine temp gauge when i drive around the doors wen warm sits at normal temperature but when a go on a duel carriageway and drive at 70mph the temperature drops to around the next mark down is this normal ???? just my old golf never did this. any help will be much appreciated............. thanks

Could be a thermostat problem :smiley:
