Title: Hic quote WHAT!!

Got a quote from hic this week on a 1993 mk1 golf rivage I'm 29 with 11 years no claims doing 5000 ish miles a year cars kept in a garage all the time and has alarm immobiliser and I was quoted £1500.00 that's the same price I paid on my range rover vouge td6 when I was 28 and a £1000.00 more than my golf gti turbo mk4 WHY?

They were miles out on a quote for me this week too. Chris Knott has come up trumps for me.

From what I've been hearing from quite a few people, HIC just aren't competitive anymore for <25 year old drivers. Shame, because their modified policies are awesome!
