does anyone knows if drive shafts can make noises while driving, when accelarating? or it might be a gearbox ? thanx
-
It could be CV joints. Usually a knocking sort of sound and will probably get worse whilst turning. I had it recently, but turned out it was cos my O/S/F wheel was almost falling off!

ahhh, as brought golf month ago(golf gti r reg, 8v,2.0) and bloke said that he replaced drive shaft! and its making whirring noise under acceleration,,, thanx
