G60 block from a corrado

I think you will need to run an 8v head then :undecided:

the op is building a G60 16v

ABF cylinder head wins hands down IMO

has the best ports in std form not the biggest ports but they flow,  the early BIG port KR heads (027)  have big inlet porst but the exhaust ports are just f**king horrible.

Yes but will a ABF head fit on a G60 block :undecided:

yes it will.

g60 block is near as dammit the same as a KR block, some use fatter head bolts 1N ( i think ) but you can just drill out the head bolt holes in the head a littel if needed the PG uses same diamiter bolt as everythging else  just use 16v bolts.

obviously for 16v g60 you need diffrent pistons and iirc some or all g60 blocks will need a rebore to take 81mm pistons

Just use the whole ABF engine.Reduce compression by using stacked gaskets or pistons. Better of using an eaton M62 as they are sheaper than a G60. But noisier, Unless you Change TB position.

machene notches into 2ltr 8 valve pistons, fit them to the ABF block,  keeps the squish zone so can get more spark on without problems.

i prefer the M90 of the jag,  the charger lends itself to fitting quite well and bigger charger displacement means the cherger rpm can be droped reduceing noise and charge temps and makes it a bit more efficent.

STD abf manifold is best replaced with a custom log, shoule be abel to get one made for not to much money as there not that hard to make
