My HD Desire has just fried my SD card.
Apparently it's due to an update that has been issued and can affect all HTC devices, so beware, if you don't actively back up to a seperate device then everything that is saved on there could be gone as it will not be recoverable.
Fortunately, it was only a few apps and some pictures that I will be missing. Nuts.
You have been warned.
Have a nice day.

Should have bought an iPhone

I use photobucket on my phone so all my photos are automatically uploaded to avoid any problems like that, App data can suck my balls because I don't have games or anything I care to save.

Sure because they're perfect and never break  they just randomly lose all photos, data, contacts and turn themselves on in the middle of the night calling contacts through the night waking your friends and there is nothing you can do because you can't take the battery out and the power button doesn't respond. No thanks. All electronic devices have problems, even those endowed with an Apple logo.

Aye, I'm not going to cry over losing any of the apps, some of the photos would have been nice to still have but nevermind.
Still. HTC peeps, beware.

I recommend using 1 of the many backup programs, My Backup Pro has a paid for version that allows backup to the internet on their servers. Titanium Backup is also very good, just be sure to copy the backups to a PC after it's done.

We're talking about HTC and how to avoid frying the SD card and losing all your data. Cheers for the warning, I will advise all my HTC owning friends.
