Title: I have some reading to do vw mags
Post by: dragongreengolfgti on 08 August 2011, 23:11
So today while in the garage i picked up three magazines

1. volkswagen golf - cover page white mk2 with 4 spoke white wheels
2. volkswagen driver - cover page gti international show report
3. performance vw - cover page blue scirocco new style

What mags do you buy and which do you think is the best?

My Mrs. supplies my magazines but I've never had them set out that nicely...

She'd get an extra special back door smash in if she did that.

Agreed, the most interesting read. In truth I get a bit bored of VW's sometimes.

PVW is ok (I am a subscriber but won't be when it runs out) - some of the cars they feature are perfectly up my street (White Oettinger Mk1 a few months back and this months Audi) however I'm not really interested in the scene show cars. I also dislike the way it's written sometimes - Scene Scene yada yada althought they are getting much better at featuring a diverse range of cars. Golf+ is good however a bit sparce for the cash IMO.

Have to say the anorak comes out sometimes though - quite like Practical Performance Car and Practical classics. Is it bad when you actually read a double page spread on which bleed kit is best?
