hi there i have a 1.9 tdi (normal 89BHP one).i got hold of a vr6 yesterday.the engine is dead on it.but it has nice 17's koni coilovers and a few other things.
so what parts of the running gear can be used on the tdi?brakes, suspension, would i need to swap over the whole hubs wishbones rear axle etc, what about brake cyclinders etc would the tdi set up work on the vr6 gear?
-
also the vr6 obv has abs and my tdi doesnt can i just not fit the abs system if i was to swap the running gear?
-
the vr6 coilovers i think will go straight in as a direct swap
are you hubs 4 or 5 stud on the TDi
-
Coilovers and the hubs/brakes then wheels
All diesel are 4x100 Vr6 and GTI 5x100. Abs would be a lot more involved and not worth the hassle
Interior will also go over, comfier more supportive seats and nicer trims

everything apart from the obvious. rear bumper boot etc
