Title: Front Passenger Interior Door Handle Removal?
Post by: Flying_Squad on 02 August 2011, 20:51
Hi folks

Could someone please confirm whether or not one has to remove the entire door card just to remove the front passenger side interior door/grab handle and the plastic that surrounds the window switch?

I'm looking to swap my passenger door handle as it's looking nackered. I know the drivers side simply needs pulling off to remove but Im hearing conflicting reports about the procedure to remove the passenger side!

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

I can confirm you need to remove the door card to remove the handle. The front bit pulls off but there are 2 or 3 little screws on the back which are only accessible when the card is off.

Thanks for the confirmation. Typical, things are never simple with VW's!
