Title: MPG sensor
Post by: VWDino on 14 April 2005, 12:31
Hi,
Just trying to connect up the MPG hose for the MFA I have installed in my Driver. Could someone give me a clue which pipe I tap into? Also, will any sort of tubing that fits the connections do or does it have to be a certain diameter exactly etc for it to work correctly. At the moment I have it hooked up but it gives me silly readings. Starts from .1 and rises to 99.9 after about a min of driving. Think I got something wrong, unless my carb is the most efficient in the world

I hooked it up using a vac tube 'Y' splitter from a 2e2 Golf in my scrappy.  I connected it to the thin pipe that goes infront of the carb, the one that plugs into the chunky pipe between the inlet and brake servo.
