Title: Advice on MK5 OEM headunits

Hello all,

Sorry for the slow question. Is there anywhere I can get advice, or a rundown of the different head untis fitted to the MK5 GTI? I am looking at two cars, one with a touchscreen nav and parking camera (from the MK6 I guess) and one with some crappy aftermarket headunit (single DIN plus storage space.... :sick:)

Can a OEM unti be retro fitted to one that left the facotry without navigation? Is it hard to do?

Both have MFSW as well, will the buttons still work on a new OEM unit?

there are various kinda of oem head unit. i believe the one to suit your needs is the RNS510, but i could be wrong :huh:
