Title: VW Heritage voltage regulator.

Had suspected the brushes were gone on my alternator so order a new regulator brush unit from VW Heritage (big boys toys) however it has no brushes in it just the regulator. Does anyone have any experience of these because I'd understood they were a complete unit and cant find brushes available seperately.

Naturally I'll contact VW Heritage asap but I'd like to have an idea before I ring so I dont sound like too much of a numpty.

Ten years ago I bought one for a Bosch alternator (from GSF), and the brushes were an integral part of the regulator.
