Title: mk3 fog lights
Post by: mysticman aka polypathetic on 13 April 2005, 22:21
hi people
needs some help with converting my front blanking plates into fog lights
i firstly bought a Mk3 front and rear fog light switch off ebay which turned out to be the same as the one i already had so i sent it back and am currently looking for another (hint hint)
anyway, after a previous post, mrwotto said that he thought that MAYBE all wiring looms on golf would be the same which sounded valid to me...why make thirteen different types if you know what i mean (so putting fogs on my car meant that it would literally mean buying a switch and fitting the fogs in a plug and play manner( by the way mrwotto didn't say this) i don't want to get him in trouble or anything )
so anyway i have bought my fogs for the amazing price of 61quid... bargin!
but the wires to connect aren't visable on the car if i remove the blanking plates
here are some more questions
do i have to buy the wires
is the loom the same on all golf
how the hell do you get the headlight switch out of the dashboard
and how fast does the world rotate cos I'm getting dizzy doing this speed all the (speed being the speed of the earths rotation not sulphate OK)
any help that you guys can provide will as usual go down a treat
cheers
jay
