Title: A few nice touches!
Post by: phil.b on 29 July 2011, 13:08
Here are a couple of pics of the slow but steady progress of my mk3!

Before
(http://i1210.photobucket.com/albums/cc413/phil_brooks/new%20new%20car/photo4.jpg)

After
(http://i1210.photobucket.com/albums/cc413/phil_brooks/new%20new%20car/photo1.jpg)

Not really breaking new grounds styling wise, but its all subtle and i like it :)

Any thoughts?

Badgeless grill, 16v badge broke unfortunatly when i was swapping it over and im not prepared to pay ebay 30 quid for another one, joey headlights, red stripe all round, tinted fogs/front indicators and tinted side repeaters. And gave it a good going over with a toothbrush!

Tinted lights and debadged grille look good

No point in refitting the badge anyway with a debadged grille.

Cheers!

Yeah it would look abit dodgy with it back on the grill, but i really like the 16v badge. Was thinking about taking the clips off it and sticking on somewhere, was considering on the glovebox lid like on mk2 gti's but thought it may look abit tacky there in a mk3... I wanna use it somewhere though

Yeah I am planning to drop it, only when I can afford some decent coilovers though! Maybe stick it back on 16s as well cos I don't like the stance on the rs4 reps
