Title: Annoying door pin rattle

Anyone had this? Driving on the motorway and the stupid door pin is rattling loudly. Happens on both my cars.

Can you custom fit a MK4 style one? Anyone done it?

happens in my car too (these mashup roads aint helping either) i thought about gluing some foam where the pin goes through the plasic bit on the door car.

glued a little bit of felt in on ours, fixed it nicely

These have always bugged me as well, I superglued the little plastic ring surrounds into door cards and then wrapped a small piece of glaziers feathertape around the lower half of the door pin, this helped loads.

have you still got the caps that fit in the hole? can you not just screw off the pin and bung it up?  not sure if the pin will still rattle inside though?
