hi have a mk 3 gti 8 valve put new back box on it then removed the centre box with a stright though pipe but man its loud and i mean loud!!      if i was till 18 would be fine but am almost 30 with kids so not at all practable i knew it was going to be kinda loud but didnt expect it to be anyware near what it is.                             my question is has any body used these

am trying to work out just how much it will take off of the leval of noise cos it cant stay the way it is. this company do these is diffrent sizes to in leangth i mean think the smallest they do is 12 inch the one in the link is the 18 inch so was thinking maybe 1x18 or 2x12 inch if anyone can help would be great chears

Why not just go back to standard.

i knew you would put that lol    i spent far to much on stainless to go standard now wayne and not planning on getting rid for a brave while so want somin good on it.
plus i do like a bit more noise just not mega loud, also the engine with all its mods would benifet from breathing more

Standard exhaust is fine for breathing. Think Wayne means why not use the standard mid box?

I had a pipe from the manifold straight to a backbox and tit wasn't that loud tbh.  :undecided:
