Title: brake disks & pads for 16v mk3 gti

As above. did a search but cant seem to find the correct answer.
My mate has got a 16v (N reg) he needs to replace the disks & pads. could anyone recommend me some & also where you got them from, its used for daily driving, the disk size is 280mm i think. i have found that people use the mintex 1144 or 1155? it wont be used for track lol.

I remember kells saying that he has Mintex??

Just go to ECP and get standard stuff as now with 25% off its a real steel

sorted. he got mintex pads with brembo disks and paid £128 i thinks

I know its too late, but its good for next time - Using your reg (i dont know the details for your friends car)

Forgot to say....

I have Pagid discs and pads all round on my Passat and find them great!
Shame I had to do it last year, way before any discount was thought of!
