Hey guys, being my first post here i hope this comes out right
I have a slight idling problem with my Mk3 1.4L, 1996
It runs just fine while cold, but as soon as it has warmed up the RPM starts hunting up and down 500-1000RPM and occasionally it dies on me, rather annoying when the lights turn green....
i am suspecting some kind of a vacuum or temp sensor problem?
It would be great to get advice on what i should try first.
Thanks!

I'd say vacuum leak. Check all your breathers for splits or if they're perished.

what about ecu temp sensor?

Ok, i have inspected and cleaned out every vacuum hose in the engine bay and replaced the brake booster line, as it looked as if it might be causing problems, but no luck...
Any ideas as what to try next?

Did you check the hoses for splits or pinholes.
My main breather pipe from the top of the rocker cover to the crankcase had a tiny hole and would collapse on tickover and low revs. Might be worth a look...
