Title: tyres and wheels-how big?

Can you go 205 /60/14's on a lowered 30mm mk2?

And how wide can you go on 15'' ralye steels,to go on to an unlowered mk2 turbo diesel??

That would look like tractor  :o
I'm not sure if you can get that size anyhow. (you can get 205/70/14 or 195/60/14. the nearest equivalent of a 205/70/14 would be 235/40/18 in diameter or a 195/60/14 would be 205/45/17, either one would be far to big without some mods)
If you tell me what size you have I can give you the equivalant tyre diameters to fit the car without messing up your readings.
Unfortunatly its not just a case of biggere/smaller rims = smaller/bigger profile. You have to take the width into account

Ihave a set of fine 14'' bbs,that were standard on some mk2's.And i have a set of the steels that everyone is raving about at the mo,they are apparently still avalible for the passat.But mine are vw rallye winter wheels imporrted from Germany.They have 195/50/15's on.SOrry i can't give you more info as im away from the cars and useless at all this et35 stuff.

Hey that was crap info i know-ive got the BBS size

They are BBS kba41175 wheels,8j x14h2  ..358 et 33

wOULD LIKE TO PUT 205 OR 195 ON.
