Title: Insuring car off the road?
Post by: Shady Pioneer on 26 July 2011, 19:40
Obviously this new law means I have to have my car insured even if it's off the road, but I'm seriously considering taking my car completely off the road for a few months to save money. I worked out each month I'm spending at least £180 just to run the car, and that's for insurance and fuel.

I don't need the car (I want it) so as I have some financial issues right now, I'm seriously considering taking it off the road.

Tax is due next month, so what is the dealio? I assume NCB aren't earned whilst declared off the road (but insured?).

Won't be. Phone insurance and ask for a fire and theft quote.

Oh yeah this. Sorry thought you wanted it to be insured just against damage.
