Title: fitting 8v gti brakes onto a 1.6 jetta mk2

i am going to be putting vw2 calipers on the jetta ('86 1.6) insted of the vw1's, i have the gti hubs, and have bought new bearings and bottom balljoints.

is it right that i have to change the outer cv joints?
