Title: Packing? Who else hates it ?

Just started to pack for my holiday next week (off to italy for 2 weeks) looking forward to not having to get up for work at 4am for 2 weeks  :smiley: :smiley: and realised how much i hate packing  :smiley:

Its just so tedious  :angry:

I've never had a problem with it, but then again I have OCD like organisation when it comes to things like that!

The packing is great. The optimism of going on holiday. Packing is almost part of the holiday when you imagine what you're about to experience. I'm a half full kinda guy

I've always travelled fairly light but just hate the entire bit of the trip from when you have prepare for it right until you've arrived. It's generally fine, until you have to come back.

What we need is a teleporter.

i'd like to have a holiday to pack for  :cry: 2 days at leeds vw festival is my holiday this year!

I only hate it cos I have to constantly wait for the missus to sort herself out! I'm done in less than 5 minutes. Go to wardrobe, empty wardrobe, empty nicks and socks drawer, pack toiletories, done. Missus - how often will we be going out, whats the weather gonna be like, shall I pack a coat, shall I pack warm clothes, how many pairs of shoes will I need, how many handbags will I need, will I need this, will I need that! ffs, just pack already!!! :angry:

am not packing to go on holiday but  packing to move and its a nighmare my celler is rammed with car bits and junk  :grin:

I'm glad I'm only 21 and therefore not having to do thst type of thing, not sure I could cope  :grin: would end up just throwing alot away saves moving it  :wink:

been her years and i have a tendency to collect sh!te

only moving as my auntie has bigger house for rent with a decent size garage  :cool: :smiley:

Went camping a while back.

Dragged out my cover and my toothbrush.

Had clothes already in the car from various times, rolled the seats back and slept in the car.  :cool:

Oh and bought a crate of Bud.

Its all about packing the night before because then you can get excited about it. Thats my plan anyway.

Usually pack in the evening as we try and fly out early morning.
I love packing coz it means sun, sea, booze and fun!

Clothes are dead cheap to buy in the US. Save the space in your luggage for souvenirs.
