Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and Fort William.  The further north you go the nicer the scenery gets!

I really suggest Loch Lomond and then up to Port Obin, my wifes from Fife and we always up north and I really like them 2 places.

avoid dundee...all you'll find there is an old boat called "discovery"
avoid arbroath too...all you'll find there is a habour and a smokie...possibly a disease too

as said earlier, the further north you get, the nicer it is...pitlochrys not a bad place if your into quiet pretty places

As above, Edinburgh is worth a look, lots of scenic routes to get there too. Some nice stuff in dumfries and galloway, but more so in the highlands. If you want a list of scenic fun driving roads, let me know! It will take longer to get places on them, but there is loads of quiet twisty roads, you can pick and choose!

Some of the islands are a trip on their own, you can drive on to Skye on the west coast, nice things on that route.

Wow, lots of good replies there.

Jeynesey, loving the link.  I've been to a few places in Scotland already, Glasgow, Edinburgh.  Had a trip to Inverness too.  Hell of a long way, but awesome scenery.

The suggestions were just what i was looking for.  I think the west coast is a good shout, and maybe drop in on Edinburgh on the way back.

Ill get some pics and drop em on the forum too!
