Title: top mount problem

just changed the top mounts and bearings on my golf and when i turn the steering the top of the top plate of the suspension and suppose the mount also moves back and forth???? any body got any ideas on what i have done wrong?? thanks in advance car is a golf vr6 98 on avo coilovers

not sure how much your move but i think that they are ment to move as your turn the wheels, i was a bit confused when i first fitted my coilovers
