Title: Non VAG but still...

I know its a Non VAG :)

The turbo recently went on my Dads 307 SW 1.6HDI.
I have removed the turbo and oil return feed. Is there any thing else that needs to be replaced with a new turbo, apart from oil and filters.

Any help please :)

When you say the turbo went what exactly happened ie shaft snapped, oil seals gone or just plain exploded and left bit everywhere?

Loss of power, oil in the intercooler and all around the turbo. Ive had the turbo apart and there is a lot of oil around the seals.

The car was stoped before the turbo started to use the oil as a source of combustion for the engine - Phew!
