Bolts: You need shorter bolts for the flywheel vw part no:  N90206103 x 6

And for the clutch pressure plate bolts vw part no: N10101001 x 6
 £15.86 for all 12 bolts.

Right upon lookin at the pics of the clutch plate, in the pic of the clutch i bought off ebay, the springs that lie in the plate, 4 i think there is , mine look different to all the other vr6 plates

this is a pic of the one i have orderd
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260814753660&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

and this one looks like all the rest of them, the srpings seem abit more stretched on the rest
http://www.techtonicstuning.com/main/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_14_591_592&products_id=366

is this right, or am i being over paranoid,, just that with the luck i have i have probly bought a fake one, and it does seem abit cheap doesent it?

been ringing around garages today, rang lookers VW, they quoted me £351 to be fitted, also tried volkservice in blackpool, they quoted me £50 an hour, four hours work + vat, but the local garage near me,quoted me £130 to fit

isit a really big job? isit worth paying 3 times the amount for VW to do it, or will my local garage be ok?

got it done today, car sounds like a diesel ticking along when driving, im pursuming thats clutch chatter vibration ive read about, as the car sounds completly different now, but just phoned the garage, and they said they forgot to put the undertray back on the car. i dont know what one of these are but im hoping it masks the sound abit!

all in all i love the feel and the lightness of the clutch, im sure ill get used to the sound

the clutch was slipping for so long and it had become so bad ive forgot how quick it was before, but its seams very quick now, apart from it being slightly louder in happy with it.

And mine is..

Think you need get a second opinion on the fitting. I'd never buy the parts myself and get a garage to fit it for stuff like this which strictly speaking shouldn't be in there...

yup, take it to anothr garage and see what they say, dont mention the clutch has been changed or theyll prob just dismiss it as well.

does the ticking get faster with the revs?
