Post by: r1kat on 21 July 2011, 23:28
Hi peeps, can anyone tell me if a set of 17" audi wheels on 215 tyres would fit my mk 2. Its been lowered 40mm and i think they will catch the arches??? Its on 15" estorils at moment and standard 195.

17"s are way too big for a mk2 really even with 205/40/17 tyres which is the correct size you will need.

17s do fit with the right off set and a small amount of wheel arch modification
