Title: slight dilemma

okay, so its nearly time to purchase a car...well, its a few months away, but money is a biatch.
Anyway, my missus has decided that im not allowed to purchase yet another golf, stating that ive allready had loads and theyv all been awful with things wrong.
I did point out to her that they were all MK3's and that everything was pretty much a fault with them  :grin: (sorry mk3 boys) and that to remedy the problem i would buy an mk2 golf instead...but no, shes having none of it.

So....
i need a list of potential cars that i could buy cheap and were guaranteed to be so horrific that i would be allowed to buy another golf.

Umm...

Budget? ALthough if you're looking at mk3's I'd say £200?
Amount of doors?
Fuel?

Etc etc.

probs around the 1500 quid mark.
she's insisting on 5 doors, because of the kids
petrol (old diesels sound awful, guy across the road from me has a mk3 golf diseasel)

our lass went mad when the polo came home  :wink:

she then went to another level when I said " its ok, the left over cash is for anther MkII " :smug:

oofffff, im getting some evil looks off her now. although i have told her that theres a choice of 3 or 4 cars that she can pick from

vw golf
reNO! megane
ford focus
ford mondeo

i suspect the golf will win! even though she wants a ford focus

Tell her Focus' are poop and horribly dated.

Although to be fair mk3's haven't aged well... :smiley:

lol. trying to find a decent mk3 round here for the right money is like trying to find rocking horse sh!t  :grin:

quite a few focus' but again, they all seem to be quite low spec, theres been a couple of zetecs pop up now and again though

and the local rags are plagued with bloody meganes
