before i bought my MK4 gti i had a very nice impreza classic (uk turbo) running 268bhp had it for about two years, so i joined a local impreza club here in wales went to all the meets and shows with them and though i had made a few friends ..........WRONG it seems when i got rid of the scoob and bought my gti i suddenly aint worthy of them  put a small post up saying how i am getting on with the golf comparing the mpg, ride comfort etc etc saying that i prefere the VW to the impreza and now im the lowest of the low.....t*ssers  any way left the club now it just seems that some people aint worth the effort

Well you shouldn't find that a problem here if you ever get rid of the golf, it's probably a 50/50 split between members with a golf and members without! When it comes to admin/mods it's more like 90% which don't

Subarus are a serious business.
Volkswagen Golfs, it would seem, are not.
Guess that'll be because the Subaru drivers are all terribly busy wondering how in the hell they'll pay for the servicing/fuel/insurance/upgrades.

Most of them are selling class A drugs to pay for em, if not they are letting out their Hairy starfish by the hour
Dont be upset I only know one Scooby owner who is not a complete c0ck, Scoobies where I live are owned by body building coke heads who beat up their women.

I'm a member on pug306.net (I've had three) and I've only had cheeky banter since I posted the Golf on there, along the lines of "Mk3? That's the sh*t one right?" and "You complain about French build quality and you've bought the only Golf built like a French car?!?!"...
All in good fun though, the diesel heads on there are still shocked from when I went petrol with an Audi 80 a year ago
-
To be fair id rather have a Pug than a MK3.

I only took this one as part ex on my pug, was gonna shift it on but it's a nice, easy runaround to do the daily drive in and it's a good cruiser, so I'm gonna smoke around in it while I save for either a 306 GTI-6, a 190E or a Corrado
It's not my first either, had a VR6 a couple of years ago until I lost my job, could barely afford the 2.5k insurance at 20 when I had a job, let alone the juice
