as i can get hold of one which is about to be scrapped so wondering what i should take off it for my mk2?

Brakes maybe, wheels with adapters. It's probably worth buying if its cheap enough and advertising it on a Porsche forum.

Sengh I think someone mentioned that the rear calipers can fit the front on mk2's. Probably worth investigating what calipers are on it.
The master cylinder? I had one off a 944 on my mk1.
May be interested in the handles. (if not scripted)

Loads of 44 stuff out there being broken so don't expect to make big money from the parts.
If it's got fuchs fitted I could well be interested in those.
