Title: golf mk4 turbo problem

i cant work out why this out ive lost turbo power but if i take the wast gate pipe off it runs bost but not when the pipe is on
do the vanes play up in the turbo on them sorry about the spelling lol

dodgy n75 valve? maybe its holding the wastegate open when you put the pipe on? so when its off it will boost...and then over boost. is there any suction at the end of the pipe when you pull the pipe off?
