thanks for the offer but not really into the whole super-strat thing

If I had that money I'd get this http://http://www.andertons.co.uk/semi-hollow-amp-hollow-body/pid20806/cid670/gretsch-electromatic-g5122dc-hollow-body-124-walnut-stain.asp and a valve amp, vox or marshall

Digital effects and only a preamp tube :lipsrsealed:
Tidy guitar though!
-
I bought a 20w all valve amp recently, awesome stuff.
-
That LP has just given me wood.
-
I got a LP Traditional for £1700 and its awesome!
those links seem to priced very low? is that right?
-
Yeah, thomann are an amazing supplier.
I kitted out my entire studio for £2.5k.
British suppliers are always overpriced compared to the rest of the world.
If you look at American websites, the same guitar will be dollar for pound.

Thomann is awesome, but wouldn't buy a guitar without playing it first.
And for £1500 I may have well gone custom, or PRS!

Agreed, my last 2 guitars I've got from Denmark street in London.
Get to try them out, spoiled for choice and very competitive prices!
Also a good day out in London!

Yeah apart from lugging it back on the train! I bought an amp head from Soundcontrol near Denmark Street and that was an arse to get back.
-
Oh remember if you're thinking of using Thomann for electrical gear, it may run on a different voltage.
-
Normally I wouldn't buy a Guitar without playing it firs but I bought my highway one telecaster from them a few years ago and was great service and next day delivery.
Expecting delivery of the gear tomorrow as soon as i have it I will post up a pic or 2

Could have had my squire strat for £50 and saved yourself a fortune

I fücking love Denmark street.
Would live there if I could.
-
Thomann is good :)
You can go to the shop in Germany. Its HUGE!
-
Are you set on a Gibson, or have you looked at Fenders? The American Vintage series is within your budget, and has some nice guitars in its range. Alas, I was skinter, so had to settle for the Mexican made Classic Player series when I bought my Jazzmaster a few weeks ago.
-
got a Fender highway one telecaster and a martin acoustic and like both plenty, just fancied a les paul, had one a few years ago but sold it for stupid money!!
-
uitar and amp collected form the depot this morning...
Love the guitar!! missed the les paul growl!!
Haven't been able to get the amp up to any volume yet as the mrs complained but wil take it to work next week and paly
-
I love mine, the way it plays, the weight, the tone just  my poor old SG hasnt seen much action as of late!
-
Had a go on my mates LP custom.
Was heavy as f**k! Had aching shoulders after 10 minutes, and the neck was really fat, but after I got used to it my fingers just flowed, such a beautiful noise!

-
yeah mine isnt as heavy as a custom but its till a bit old weight good thing i got a nice fat leather guitar strap saves my shoulder a little
-
If I were to get an LP I'd get a studio '09, they're much lighter, plus they have the locking jack input as opposed to the classic input.
Plus they're a thing of beauty!

Denmark street rocks, I used to go up there all day just to play guitars and then buy some strings and a pick
Sold a guy a vintage keyboard on GT, he came over from north London on the train thinking he could carry it back under his arm should have seen his face when he picked it up
Bet he dropped it on the way home.....
