Any advice on how to bring some porsche 928's to a nice mirror shine?
grades of wet and dry up to a polish on the end?

When I polished up my TT Comps from a corroded condition, I used 800, 1200 and 1500 grit wet n dry with warm soapy water. Then G3 cutting compound, Autosol metal polish and finished with Autoglym metal polish. To protect them I used 3 coats of Collinite 476 hard wax. Still going strong 18 months on with only a quick clean every couple or few months.

Good luck with it mate.

Lots and lots of hardwork! When i dont the rims of my borbets i went from really low grit, i believe 400 to 1500 but all the way through the grades, then autosol to get the shine at the end!

Be prepared for pain, i made my finger tips bleed!

Haha, I remember the evenings with one wheel at a time rubbing them down in front of the TV in the living room.
