Title: Alarm installers - recommendations? (Southwest)
Post by: jmsheahan on 19 July 2011, 21:11
I have a Toad AI606 I'd like installed into my Mk2 Golf. It's brand new in the box but I don't trust myself to fit it

I'm looking for a good installer that's in the Southwest (mobile or fixed) that knows Vw's and will do a through, tidy job. Can anyone recommend anywhere/had experiences with?

Ta!

Speak to James @ Somerset car sales on 01278 423116, he has been doing alarms for years.

Cheers Wayne - he know his way around VW's well?

Any others? Someone must have had an install done

Found these guys who'll do it for around £100

For the reasons above this is why I want someone I know can be trusted from experience :undecided:

 Yeah I bet there's some shoddy work out there.

Surely most people most have some form of alarm/immobiliser installed on older dubs though?

Some won't fit alarms or issue a certificate for an alarm they haven't supplied.
