hi everyone. purchased my first golf a few weeks back, a mk3 gti which i love to bits. being quite a few years old there are a few things starting to deteriorate and i want to restore her back to her former glory.
was just wondering if people have used GSF to get their parts? i know i could go to volkswagen but the one near me are absolutely useless!! do GSF do all parts or are they best for just basic parts ie. brakes, suspension etc.
i am thinking of replacing the bodykit with a brand new one as the plastic has started to crack etc

GSF or euro car parts are fine.
I would avoid getting a new bodykit they are very expensive new, best bet is s/h

they can be a bit useless
branded stuff like brakes , dampers and ign parts are fine , wheel bearings tend to be chinnese and poor quality
worth pricing up genuine parts as some stuff is similar price anyhow

I've had a fair few things from GSF and tbf I've found them pretty good. Never had problems with parts supplied anyway. ECP dont have a very good reputation for supplying the correct parts, and have an even worse rep for customer services. Deffinately worth trying the stealer though as parts are'nt always miles away price wise, and if you give them the part number, you cant go wrong. My local dealer are very good though, GSF give me 10% forces discount but the dealers give me 20%. :smug:

The Lemforder stuff from ECP is good quality.
