Post by: OKENEMEM on 18 July 2011, 20:43
Im considering remapping my golf , is there anything i should kno about before going ahead with it. i was gonna use amd for the remap.

another thing that worries me is that , im worried that the 1.4 engine cant handle the excess power it will hav once remapped

any feedback would b greatfull

Hi mate, did you get your headlamps sorted?

AMD will check the car over and ensure that all is good prior to remapping it, the 1.4 will be fine after mapping just keep on top of the servicing ;-)

Take care
Craig

Absolutely, a pre map diagnostic both visual and ecu diag is key but if tuned correctly any engine can benefit from more efficient power.

Stick with a reputable company mate, there's plenty of us out there now.
