hi everybody im from lancashire my names matt and i drive a golf mk3 match anyone want it

i need help with a few things firstly it drinks fuel like its a vr6 its a 1.4
it feels wooly to drive
only has two rust holes
is so underpowered walking is quicker
and it understeers something chronic

now i used to have a mk3 polo which i loved but i had an accident which left me in this and to be fair i dont like it at all its no where near as sharp or responsive as my polo and not half as much fun my golf has had a replacement head and is a 95 spi abd engine could this be whats causing the overfuelling ive put gti seats in which are much better then the dreary match ones and its on 13 by 5.5j sport radars (last owners mods) so come on people tell me how do i sort this s/o/s out and how do i make it fun to drive
