based on customer service.. availability and average results it has to be revo everytime for me .. certain "other" tuners just didn't seem to want to make any effort.. no names mentioned, but you'll never see me recommend them

Depending on what sps module you get, you can turn the chip on or off, alter boost settings, engine pressure, fuel octane, imobilise the ecu check out http://www.revotechnik.com/ you can get a 5 hour free trial too so you can try before you buy.

just found the web site there saying that the increase is to 207bhp  were as the jabba sport chip is garanteed 217bhp-230bhp and its cheaper £475 and £160 for the in-car adjustable boost kit. .

Jabba sport claim this, might be worthasking a few people with thier chips what they are getting.

I got revo and rolling roaded @ 220bhp.  Also with revo everything is controled by obd2 port with a remote dongle, if you need to switch it off to take to the stealers or sumit then it is totally undetectable.

Try and get some performance figures off people and se how you go.

Jabba, Amd and revo have all got good reputations anyway

I got mine done at Awsome Gti with a friend, the APR chip is really good well impressed and cost us both £425 including vat, like the other remaps is switchable if you have cruise control fitted.

I've just got a cheeky bonus from work and thinking more and more abut getting my gti t 150bhp chipped. i live reasonably close to awesome gti so Will probably go down that route with the APR Tune, i know this is going to sound really geeky but is it true that chipped cars run higher mpg than non chipped ones? i do a lot of motorway and just wondered what effects the chipping has on cruising mpg70-80 mph??? many thanks
