Title: new discs picked up today

had 2 of  these made today any gueses how much ?

had a day of shopping today   and picked up 2 discs that was standerd and got them drilled and grooved .  a steering rack   2 tie rods and treated mesen to a g60 flywheel  . beautifull !!

there standerd discs just got a engineering firm to drill and groove them  they do look a lot nicer than the standerd 1s  and could of had them made in mat black for a fiver! but my  hubs are newly painted black and the bottom arms and susspension legs etc so silver will set it all off

It is suprising when asking for custom work to be done. Go to a machine shop and a 'complex' job like this can be done by people in the know in a matter of minutes for beer money.

Same with 'custom exhausts', normally cheaper to get one made than to buy one off the shelf  :smiley:

I'm in the process of trying to get some VW tools made for my car this way.  :lipsrsealed:  :cool:

bet theyre alot cheaper than buying the drilled 'n grooved discs
where abouts in derby did you get them done??

got them done at birdholme chesterfield pal  if you need details let me know  :wink:
