has anyone here fitted bonnet lifting struts? I quite fancy a set but don't want to be drilling any holes in my new car just yet. How do they fit?
cheers

hi you dont have to drill any holes you just take 1 bolt out of bonnet hinge(dont think you spell it like that)and take 1 bolt out of wing, replace with your new ones and clip in the new struts ,hope this helps, dead easy even i did it.

Wheres the best/cheapest place to get these?
I fancy a set. Think I would need 2 on a Mk3 thought wouldnt I (one either side)?

Euro car parts do them, I expect there's one near you somewhere. I'm getting mine from my local one in the next few days if they're chrome ones they sell. £20 +vat per pair, I'm way to impatient to order any by post

You made me do a bad thing :embarassed:. I've just ordered mine over the phone to pick up tomorrow. I have no will power left.
