Title: gti suspention

ok what i want to no is what is the diferance between a normal mk3 golf suspension and a gti,s
as i have perswaded my mate to buy a mk3 1.4 and i have my standered gti suspension in my garage from when i fitted my coilovers. can i just put my springs or shox strait onto his car? are the only diferances the coil and shox?

Think they mount exactly the same so that shouldnt be an issue. GTI suspension setup is 15mm lower than standard I believe. (or is it 10mm).  :undecided:

10mm lower, no issues with fitting them, Shady fitted my old GTI set up to his old GL

Yes or just the complete GTI shocks / springs.
