Does anyone know an easy and possibly free way to unlock an iPhone 3GS on the Tmobile network , thanks.

what software version and modem version are you using?

go on safari on your iphone phone and type jailbreakme 3.0 and go from there

you need to upgrade the baseband of your phone to 6.15.00 to unlock it
